This 1/2 HP continuous-feed food waste disposer operates with or without the food cover to make disposing of food waste quick and easy. The motor rotates at 1725 RPMs and features an Overload Protection with Manual Reset for added safety.
1725 RPMs
- Every KitchenAid disposer features a motor that rotates at 1725 RPM for effective food grinding.
- Allows for constant grinding for quick kitchen cleanup after meals. The disposer is connected to an electrical switch, making operation easy and safe.
- Disconnects power automatically from the disposer in the event of a mechanical jam, over-heating, or electrical power overload. Easily reset power to the disposer with the push of a button.
