In 1995, after owning his own store for 7 years, Sam was looking for a way to provide a better appliance store model. Sam cultivated a direct relationship with Whirlpool based on minimal cost and glitz. Sam eliminated many of the expenses typical of a traditional retail model. The result was less overhead, less staff, more in stock inventory and better deals for the customer. The outcome is Appliance Direct!

To this day, Sam communicates daily with executives at all levels of the Whirlpool Corporation. From streamlining the ordering and delivery of in-box product, to securing the most desirable out-of-box inventory, Sam’s daily mission is to provide the lowest price on high quality appliances and ensure that they are always in stock and available for immediate delivery.

As you browse our inventory you will find several of our most popular pieces marked as Always In Stock. These are the in-box products that our customers seem to prefer and are ordered in bulk. The inventory is closely monitored and restocked on a daily basis.

Over the years, we have found that the majority of appliance purchases occur because the last one stopped working. We like to say that nobody plans to need a new appliance, but when you do, you need it now! At Appliance Direct, if you buy before 1PM, you can have your new appliance delivered (and installed if needed) the same day. At Appliance Direct, all our brand new Scratch and Dent inventory comes directly from the manufacturer. Each individual piece is manufacturer re-tested and comes with full factory warranty. Because of the volume of Scratch and Dent inventory coming in and going out of each location, it would be impossible to display the inventory on our website.
